Henry, served as the first elder of the Guava Gap SDA Church in St. Andrew where he was a member for more than twenty five years. He was seen as a man of integrity who loved the Lord and lived by the principles of the Bible.

In reacting to the news of Elder Henry’s passing, EJC President, Dr. Eric Nathan said his passing is a great loss to the church and community. “He was a seasoned, long time senior leader in the church. He was a lay preacher, first Elder and a member of the EJC Executive Committee. Just as how the world would go to him for comments, the conference would go to him for fatherly advice.”
