BELIEVE conference inspires women to read the Bible

A recent conference run by the Greater Sydney Conference’s Women’s Ministry was a reminder for women to read their Bibles more.

“Women and the Word” was the theme of this year’s BELIEVE conference held at the Fox Valley Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Four panellists from Adventist Media production At The Table were the main speakers. Rachel Humphries, Rachel Lemons Aitken, Melody Tan and Maryellen Fairfax talked about how their busy schedules affected their spiritual lives and their tips on staying focused on God. After the main session, the more than 125 guests had the opportunity to enjoy a delicious afternoon tea. They were then split into small groups to delve into the Word with various female leaders before returning to the auditorium to close Sabbath.

The next GSC Women’s Ministry event will be a leadership brunch held at the Conference Office on June 17.
