The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reported on May 14 that Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome in Children (MIS-C) is associated with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). MIS-C is a condition where different parts of a child’s body become inflamed, including the heart, lungs, kidneys, brain, skin, eyes, or gastrointestinal organs.
